I know the area w...So, you're going to NoVa. <br /><br />I know the area well. Housing is pricey but I don't think quite as bad as New York and San Francisco. If you're willing to drive, you can get something very nice in the threes or fours.<br /><br />Stay away from MD. Infrastructure is better but it's a blue state and crime is much higher than in Virginia.<br /><br />Think Winchester, Berryville or possibly Charles Town, WV.
