And now, with the City of Youngstown earning state as well as national-level planning awards for shrinking city initiatives, and sparking unparalelled city-university-community involvement, the possibilty for the trend to seap southeasterly into Greater Pittsburgh has become more likely than ever!

This Mideastern region is like no other, and with new a-bureaucratic grassroots efforts to form more alliances and raise future-oriented awareness of the proximity, the Cleveland-Pittsburgh Corridor could easily become the new micro-magnetic region of the 2010s and 2020s.

Though state lines and columbus-centric interests are almost always placed first on the long list of Urban Ohio necessities, that will all change with the attention shifting towards the Northeast, as Cleveland+ and the ex-Steel Valley continue to do things differently than the pathetically-convential state capital. Cleveland+Youngstown2010+Pittsburgh has really got me excited.

Pittsburgh is much more on our minds than Columbus, especially with a new NEO governor (Strickland, S. Youngstown) and senator (Brown, W. Cleveland). The possibility for future connectivity rests in our hands. Let the high speed trains be built, and the cross-promotion of the idea and the area spread like heavy industry throughout our valleys, from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

Four Airports, Four Cities, Over Seven Million Strong, One Cleveland-Pittsburgh Corridor.

dominic gatti
RustyWatersApparel.com
Clothing that Champions the Culture of the Realest Rustbelt Cities:
Cleveland|Pittsburgh|Youngstowngattinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08895720084070882071noreply@blogger.com
