Higher education in the United States rules the world. What's wrong with it?

Theme: Intangible economy

Subject Article: "The Day the Purpose of College Changed: After February 28, 1967, the main reason to go was to get a job."

Other Links: 1. "Modules on Foucault. Ch I: on history."

Postscript: For the sake of reducing the number of terms invented, I'm abandoning "legacy economy" and adopting the BEA approved "intangible economy". I recently blogged about the intangible economy.
