Blog Release: Burgh Boomerang Parties in DC Area and NYC

From "My Tale of Two Cities":

As part of the second annual "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" Day, in honor of Fred Rogers' birthday, there will be special screenings of "My Tale of Two Cities", a funny and heartfelt comeback story starring the real-life "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood", in various cities with special appearances by Franco Harris and Mr. McFeely, as part of an effort to encourage everyone to wear their favorite sweater on Mister Rogers' actual birthday March 20th and be extra-neighborly that day.

We hope these special events will give Pittsburghers everywhere yet another reason to cheer for the town many of them still consider "home" in their hearts and give those who grew up watching "The Neighborhood" a chance to celebrate America's favorite neighbor. Please help us spread the word to friends and family.

On Monday March 16th in the Washington, D. C. area, Steeler legend Franco Harris and Mr. McFeely of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" will attend a special benefit at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring, Maryland.

On Thursday March 19 in New York City, Franco Harris and Mr. McFeely (actor David Newell) will be at the Tribeca Cinemas for a screening there.

Both screenings start at 7 p.m. with tickets only $10 and benefit The Pittsburgh Promise and the "Youth and Media Initiative" of the Steeltown Entertainment Project. Please email mytaleoftwocities@gmail.com to reserve tickets in advance as seating is limited. Remember to specify which city you would like tickets for.
