Miserable Chicago

Forbes doesn't think much of Chicago:

Lousy weather, long commutes, rising unemployment and the highest sales tax rate in the country are to blame for the Windy City being near the top of our list. High rates of corruption by public officials didn't help either.

Other factors considered include violent crime, pro sports teams, Superfund sites, and income tax rate. Also among the Rust Belt miserable are Cleveland, Detroit, Flint, Buffalo, and St. Louis. Your city can't do much about the weather. Perhaps Forbes is suggesting that better ownership and management of your local professional sports franchise might make up for all the cloudy days.
